Maltese deputy wins third term

David Pullicino, the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Malta, is set remain in the role until 2013.

Pullicino, who became deputy governor in July 1999, will serve a third five-year term, the central bank said Wednesday. He has been at the central bank since its inception in 1968 and has worked in most of the operational areas during his 40-year career.
