Deputy Rarawa set to replace Solomons' Hou

Denton Rarawa, the deputy governor of the Central Bank of the Solomon Islands, looks likely to succeed Rick Hou as head of the central bank.

Fred Fono, the deputy prime minister of the archipelago, told local media that Snyder Rini, the finance minister, had approved Rarawa's nomination. The governor general is expected to formalise the appointment early next week.
