NYSE nominate New York Fed's McDonough to Board

William McDonough, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has been nominated to the Board of the New York Stock Exchange.

The nomination follows the withdrawal of Citigroup Chairman Sanford Weill. He withdrew from consideration after criticism that he was an inappropriate advocate for investors.

Also nominated to the Board was former vice chairman Robert Fagenson who now holds the post of vice chairman of the Van der Moolen Specialists USA. Fagenson replaces Todd Christie who also
