Solomon Is's Hou cites govt interference

Rick Hou, the soon to depart governor of the central bank of the Solomon Islands, has suggested it might be difficult to find a candidate to replace him as government interference may put people off from the job.

The Governor of the Solomon Islands Central Bank, Rick Hou says government interference could discourage candidates for his position when his term ends in August.

He says many people with experience in the government and private sectors have left Solomon Islands
