Greenspan to visit Tokyo

Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan will visit Japan in October, during which he will meet with Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui and speak to business leaders, the BOJ said on Tuesday 6 September.

Greenspan, who is scheduled to retire on Jan. 31 after an 18-year tenure at the helm of the U.S. central bank, will deliver a speech to business leaders on Oct. 18 in central Tokyo, Japan's leading business lobbies said in a joint statement.
