New deputy governor appointed to ECCB

Trevor Brathwaite, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, International Financial Services and Economic Affairs, St Lucia, was appointed Deputy Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) this week.

The appointment arises out of the retirement of former Deputy Governor, Mr Errol Allen on 31 March 2005, after thirty-one years of service to the Bank.

Mr Brathwaite has been employed with the Government of St Lucia since 1992, and has held the positions of Comptroller of Inland Revenue
