Senate likely to vote on Fed's Kohn June 14

The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will likely vote on the nomination of Federal Reserve Board Governor Donald Kohn to be vice chairman at the central bank on June 14, a spokesman was quoted as saying on Thursday 8 June.

"We'll try to move the nominations next week, likely Wednesday," committee spokesman Andrew Gray said, referring not only to Kohn, but to nominees for the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Deposit Insurance
