Lithuania should keep currency board - NBP chief

Lithuania should keep the currency board model as long as the situation of country's economy is unclear, the president of the Polish central bank said in the Vilnius conference on Thursday.

"The currency board model is a suitable form when the situation in the country is not clear. However, when everything falls into places, it is possible to choose a freer regime. Poland has never chosen the currency board model, thus it is difficult to comment on this matter more," Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz
