Poland's Skrzypek wants ex-deputy in Pruski role

Slawomir Skrzypek, the president of the National Bank of Poland, has nominated Witold Koziski, an economics professor at Warsaw University and a former deputy president, to replace Jerzy Pruski, who quit last week.

Koziski worked at the central bank from 1992 to 1998 rising to the position of first deputy president. He would hold the same position if his nomination if Lech Kaczyski, Poland's president, approves the nomination.
