Ken Wattret is the chief eurozone market economist at BNP Paribas in London. He has worked as a financial markets economist in the City of London since 1994, focusing on the analysis and forecasting of key economic policy and financial market trends in the eurozone and G10 economies.

Daniel Gros is the director of the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels. He worked at CEPS first between 1986 and 1988 and then since 1990. Initially his research
