Reserve management staff salaries increase by almost 6% from last year

Staff in Europe remain the best paid globally

The annual salary of reserve management department employees increased year on year by 5.58%, according to data from the Reserve Benchmarks 2023.

Among the 29 central banks that addressed this question, employees receive an average of $38,876 annually. Last year the average was $36,765.

A high income central bank from Europe records the highest salary, remunerating its reserve management staff members with $131,246. Employees in a lower-middle income institution from Africa receive the lowest
