Staff salaries at reserves departments increased 17.6% from last year

Total staff numbers declined by 10% to 27

The salary of staff at reserve management departments increased by 17.6% over the past year, according to data from the Reserve Benchmarks 2022.

However, the average number of full-time employees in these departments declined by 10% – from 30 in 2021 to 27 this year.

The sample, including 44 central banks, records an average salary of $36,765, up from $31,250 last year. Salaries ranged from $119,754 in an advanced economy central bank to $8,753 in an upper-middle income jurisdiction.
