

Advanced economies more likely to publish minutes
Average central bank publishes minutes around two weeks after a policy decision
Central banks in advanced economies (AEs) are more likely to publish minutes from policy decision meetings than their counterparts in emerging market economies (EMEs), the Monetary Policy Benchmarks 2023 find.
Across all 33 central banks that supplied data, almost half (48.5%) publish minutes. But among AE central banks, 71.4% publish minutes, compared with 31.6% of EME institutions.
