Regtech tools commonly used for risk assessment

Central banks in higher income jurisdictions are more likely to have a regtech strategy, the Fintech Benchmarks 2023 reveal.

Regulatory technology (regtech) strategy is employed by approximately one-fifth of all respondents. Thirty-five central banks addressed this section of the benchmark.

Among advanced economy central banks, 29% said they have the policy. Across emerging market economies, the adoption rate stood at 10.5%.

Across 35 jurisdictions, the most common application of regtech
