

Banking resolutions are rare events in most countries
Two jurisdictions account for 77.9% of resolutions reported by sample
Just over half of respondents to the Financial Stability Benchmarks 2022 said that at least one lender had been resolved in their jurisdiction during the last decade.
Some 31 central banks responded to a question on this subject. A total of 16, or 51.6%, said that the authorities had resolved at least one bank in the past 10 years.
