Oliver Wyman forged its expertise in supporting central banks’ crisis management over a decade ago, when it worked on a comprehensive assessment of banks’ asset quality across the eurozone during the European financial crisis. The reviews were supplemented by stress testing and crisis-preparedness programmes to assess the resilience of the financial system and aid the clean-up operation.
