LatAm central banks recognised the value of an ESG-aligned corporate bond ETF developed by Amundi and Flar

At the start of last year, the Central Bank of Uruguay was looking to diversify away from government bonds and into credit, but its risk management team was mindful of the reputational risks that could arise in the event of defaults.

The solution was to invest in a fixed-income exchange-traded fund (ETF) aligned with environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria, jointly developed by Amundi and the Latin American Reserve Fund (Flar).
