Ice launches gold futures trading in London
Contract gives market participants new risk management tools, head of Ice Europe says
US financial services company Intercontinental Exchange (Ice) has launched a new gold futures contract in London, seeking to revive a derivatives market in the world’s largest market for bullion.
The physically settled daily futures contract began trading on October 5, along with new futures for silver, platinum and palladium.
