ECB should become global lender of last resort – report

Academics put forward policy recommendations to further internationalise euro

The European Central Bank should take on a more activist role as a global lender of last resort, a new report argues.

Published by the European Macro Policy Network on September 28, it sets out policy recommendations that would support further internationalisation of the euro.
