Venezuela in talks to move gold from London to New York

Any agreement should be accompanied by reforms such as central bank independence, lawyer says

The Venezuelan government and opposition are close to reaching an agreement to transfer the central bank’s $4 billion worth of gold reserves held at the Bank of England to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
