Reform UK’s proposals to shake up the Bank of England are ill-advised and potentially hazardous, former senior officials at the bank have told Central Banking.
The party, which has established a significant poll lead over both the Labour government and the official Conservative opposition, has in recent days outlined some of the changes it might bring in at the BoE should it win the next general election.
