The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBRK) has become the seventh country to sign up to a memorandum of co-operation linking the European Banking Authority (EBA) and financial supervisory authorities in south-eastern Europe.

The CBRK was allowed to join following a “positive assessment of the professional secrecy and confidentiality regime”, the EBA said. It added that the memorandum serves as a non-binding agreement to establish “a framework of co-operation and information exchange”
