Ernest Addison is lead regional economist at African Development Bank
Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo-Addo, has nominated a former head of the central bank’s research division to be its next governor.
Ernest Addison was nominated as the next governor by the president, says a statement distributed by a government-owned media source yesterday (March 30). Former governor Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku announced his resignation for “personal reasons” earlier the same day, one year into his four-year term.
