Varoufakis to stand down if Greeks vote 'Yes'
Greek finance minister says he will quit if public accepts proposals in July 5 referendum
Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis will resign if the country votes to accept the latest proposals from its international creditors on the weekend, he said today (July 2).
Negotiations over another bailout programme for Greece have stalled, as the public prepares to vote on whether to accept the latest terms offered to the country in a July 5 ballot.
The Greek government is urging the public to reject the proposals and today Varoufakis told Bloomberg he would step down if they do not. He
