IMF regional economic outlook warns of knock-on effect from reserve currency movements
Policy-makers in the Asia and Pacific region could face an "uncomfortable" trade-off between competitiveness and financial stability, the IMF warned yesterday (May 6), as a result of "large and rapid" movements in the major reserve currencies.
