People: Tim Geithner moves to Warburg Pincus; BNM deputy re-appointed
US: The former New York Fed president and Treasury secretary, Timothy Geithner, has moved to private equity house Warburg Pincus as president and managing director.
Geithner, tipped by some as an outside bet to succeed Ben Bernanke in the chair of the Federal Reserve, left the Treasury this January after four years as secretary. Before that, he was president and chief executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, between 2003 and 2009.
