Uribe given third and final term as Colombian governor

The Board of the Central Bank of Colombia re-appointed José Darío Uribe for a third and final term as governor on September 28.

Uribe, 53, was appointed governor in 2005, and will begin his third four-year term on January 4, 2013. He is set to follow his predecessor, Miguel Urrutia Montoya, in completing the maximum of three terms as the central bank's governor.
