CNB’s Singer condemns approach towards EFSF
Miroslav Singer, governor of the Czech National Bank, on January 23 expressed his dismay at the lack of clarity and transparency from European policy-makers with regards to the objectives of the eurozone bail-out vehicle.
At a hearing at the European Parliament on economic and monetary affairs in Brussels, Singer said uncertainties associated with the specific operation of the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) were giving rise to doubts about the appropriateness of the current
