HKMA - Monetary and Financial Stability Report (March 2011)
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority's half-yearly Monetary and Financial Stability Report, published on Tuesday, said banks should continue to practice stringent underwriting standards, and remain alert to risks associated with property lending.
The report, which provides detailed analyses of the Hong Kong economy, said the residential property market in Hong Kong continued to boom in the second half of 2010 as house prices rose by 20.4% during the year.
