FDIC names new general counsel
Michael Krimminger, a special adviser for policy and deputy chair at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), on Friday was confirmed as general counsel with immediate effect.
The FDIC said Krimminger's appointment had been unanimously approved by the FDIC board of directors. As general counsel, Krimminger will head the FDIC's legal division and oversee 800 staff with responsibility for legal affairs on regulatory issues, FDIC transactions, litigation and corporate and commercial claims
