India’s Chakrabarty wants better global governance

Countries like India and Sri Lanka must demand a better global governance system to manage the challenges of globalisation, said Kamalesh Chakrabarty, a deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

In addition, Chakrabarty said, the financial stability architecture that emerges in the post-crisis period should also emphasise financial inclusion.

He made the comments on 25 September.
