Philippines central bank to reduce policy meetings
The number of policy meetings in a year will drop to eight or nine from 12, it said.
"The reduction in the number of meetings will allow the Monetary Board (MB) to consider a larger amount of macroeconomic data in its policy discussions, and to have more time for analysis and evaluation of the economic evidence," central bank governor Amando
