Brazilian inflation hits eight-year high
Consumer prices rose a hefty 3.02 percent in November, the government's IBGE statistics institute said Friday. It was the biggest one-month jump since a 1994 economic plan ended years of runaway inflation.
November's result pushed inflation for the first 11 months to 10.22 percent, which is above the 9 percent limit set with the International
