Heads of EurAsEC central banks to meet in Belarus

The 9th meeting of the Council of chairmen of the central banks of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) member states is expected to start in Minsk on March 12, the National Bank of Belarus (NBB) said on Thursday 11 March.

Representatives of administrations of the central banks of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, Interstate Bank and the Integration Committee of the EurAsEC are expected to partake, the document said.

The Council is to consider draft cooperation agreements regarding the integrated currency market of the EurAsEC.

Besides, the draft agreement unifying the opening of accounts by EurAsEC members in other member-states to service their representative offices will be considered, the press release said.

Also, the participants are to consider the monetary and credit policy in the EurAsEC, the organization of the mortgage and housing construction savings system, as well as the system of economic analysis, including the monitoring of companies.
