Bermuda - annual report 2006
The Bermuda Monetary Authority's annual report for 2006 explains why the central bank separated the roles of chairman and chief executive.
Other highlights of the central bank's year were:
· Further enhancements to the legislative framework including the introduction of the Investment Funds Act 2006 and the Money Service Business Regulations 2006, along with further amendments to the Insurance Act and the drafting of new provisions in the Proceeds of Crime legislation
· Continued successful
