Reserve managers tell Autumn Meetings they are unconvinced by stablecoins

Members of a panel at the Central Banking Autumn Meetings said that although reserve managers were thinking about the dollar’s ongoing loss of prominence, they were not moving out of their positions.

During the panel, which took place today (November 19) in Rio de Janeiro, three reserve managers discussed the future of the greenback and its alternatives, as well as gold and digital currencies.

The panel was chaired by a macro analyst from an asset management firm and also included an investment
