BIS launches third green bond fund in Asia

The Bank for International Settlements unveiled its third green bond fund today (October 21). 

The fund will operate in the Asia-Pacific region from early 2022, the BIS said. It will work closely with the Philippines-based Asian Development Bank (ADB), and other development financial institutions and issuers. 

The initiative aims to connect central banks in the region with the wider financial industry to boost investments in environmentally friendly projects.
