Indonesia holds and enacts new measures to protect rupiah value
Damayanti’s first rate decision as governor comes as BI and HKMA advance payments co-operation
Indonesia’s central bank has held rates while rolling out new measures to protect the value of the rupiah. The decision came on the same day as Hong Kong’s de facto central bank said it had agreed to boost payments co-operation with its Indonesian counterpart.
