
Paraguay maintains policy rate at 6%
Central bank delivers 15th consecutive hold as inflation trends towards new 3.5% target

The Central Bank of Paraguay has maintained its policy rate at 6%, marking its 15th consecutive hold as inflation continues to converge towards its newly established 3.5% target.
In a statement yesterday (June 24), the bank said the economy had shown “favourable dynamism” in the first few months of 2025. This had been driven by strong performances in the services, manufacturing, electricity generation and construction sectors.
