Fed policy should become more neutral – Bostic

As the economy operates close to potential and inflation approaches target, rates can be raised, the Atlanta Fed president says

Lower unemployment and higher inflation expectations in the US lend support to the Fed’s gradual policy normalisation, said Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta president Raphael Bostic in a speech on March 23.
