ECB to promote women’s financial literacy with fitness tracker

EuroSteps initiative combines step counting with ‘bite-sized lessons’ in money management

The European Central Bank is launching a financial literacy campaign for women based on step-counting.

ECB president Christine Lagarde unveiled the programme, named EuroSteps, at an event on March 2 ahead of International Women’s Day, which will take place on March 8.
