President Donald Trump has again publicly criticised the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy.

The US central bank chose to reduce its policy rate by 25 basis points and conclude its balance sheet normalisation programme two months early on July 31. But, by not sending a strong signal that more rate cuts would be coming, it appears to have left the president and markets discontented.
