PBoC to resume open market China bond trading
Analysts expect purchases by central bank to support liquidity and government fiscal policy
China’s central bank is to resume bond trading on the open market after pausing earlier this year, in a move analysts believe will support the country’s fiscal and monetary policy plans.
People’s Bank of China governor Pan Gongsheng made the announcement at a financial forum in Beijing on October 27 without providing a timeframe for when the resumption would begin.
