National Bank of Denmark continues 26-month streak of non-intervention in FX market

The National Bank of Denmark has said it believes 2025 will mark the end of its restrictive monetary policy.

In its biannual review of monetary and financial trends, published on March 19, the central bank said it expects monetary policy to stop restricting economic activity this year.

The bank notes that calculating the neutral rate of interest (r*) is not possible. However, based on the estimates provided by its models, it says r* could have risen in 2020 and 2024.
