UK inflation could stay closer to 2% than forecast – BoE deputy

UK inflation could come in below the most recent forecasts by the Bank of England (BoE) if recent trends continue, deputy governor Dave Ramsden said on November 20.

The monetary policy committee (MPC) has forecast a slight rise in both growth and inflation over the coming months, driven partly by higher energy prices and more generous fiscal spending.
