Lower unemployment and below-target inflation should allow the Federal Reserve to continue its gradual process of policy normalisation, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Raphael Bostic, said on June 18.
In a speech at the Rotary Club of Savannah, Georgia, Bostic said the US economy is at its closest point to target since the beginning of the recovery.
