Riksbank minutes highlight ‘unexpectedly rapid’ currency appreciation

The minutes of the Sveriges Riksbank's September monetary policy meeting, published on September 18, revealed fears over an "unexpectedly rapid" appreciation of the currency.

In discussing economic developments, all six of the Riksbank's executive board members highlighted the risks posed by increases in the krona exchange rate.
