Reserve Bank of Fiji governor promotes financial inclusion innovations


The governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji, Barry Whiteside, on September 5 called for continuing innovation and co-operation between stakeholders in the drive for financial inclusion.

Speaking at the National Financial Competency Development Workshop in Suva, he said inclusion was about empowering consumers, and that new reforms would specifically target vulnerable groups, including the poor and the under-served.
