Ante Žigman takes charge in Zagreb and Nizar Nasser Hussein takes over in Baghdad
Ante Žigman began a six-year term on June 19 as governor of the Croatian National Bank. He began his career at the central bank, but has also worked at the Ministry of Finance and at commercial lenders. Immediately prior to his current role, he spent seven years as president of the board of Croatia’s Financial Services Supervisory Agency. He was also a member of the board of supervisors at the European Securities and Markets Authority.
