People: Bowman to chair FSB supervisory committee

Michelle Bowman, vice-chair for supervision on the US Federal Reserve Board, has been appointed chair of the Financial Stability Board’s standing committee on supervisory and regulatory co-operation. In her new role, Bowman will serve a renewable two-year term, which began on July 29. The committee’s responsibilities include addressing key financial stability issues related to the development of supervisory and regulatory policy.
